I told you I could not wait to begin the marigold yarn. I can't wait to see the first sock done, but I will have to finish a Mother's Day present first....

I Feel Better!!
~ Eleanor Roosevelt
You Are Tea |
You are mellow and reflective. You don't allow yourself to feel in a rush and frenzied. You're likely to appreciated the ideas or connections that come up over a warm cup of tea. While you do enjoy the energy of a caffeine boost, you love that it allows you to take a break. You're not in a rush to do anything. You're content with your life, and in no rush to change it. |
I quite love tea, decaf is my drink of choice. Earl Grey Decaf is my favorite, but I love many different kings, including PG. I always have a pot going, both at home and at work.

Sunday Moments
Penny Rugs and More is one of my favorite blogs. Last week she added this wonderful pin cushion on her Etsy page, I quick snapped it up. She has others listed, too...take a look. Not only are they adorable, they are really functional. There is protection inside so you don't stab yourself.
I have purchased from her in the past. My sister and I both love the coin purses I bought. She sells plastic templates already to use on your own wool, which I did today, but not for as long as I would have liked. Maybe I will get a little more done and show you tomorrow. She has a tutorial on her blog for 3 stack pennies with a personal backing that is very informative.

Knitting Gusset Tip
Just not quite yet. There is a blizzard forecasted for my part of South Dakota today and tomorrow, to begin early this afternoon. I intend to sleep through it. I was more sick than they originally thought and will be in bed for maybe another week. I am very pouty this morning. My daughter and granddaughter are on their way to the flea market....one of my favorite haunts. I just know I am missing out on treasures...I just know it. It is only on one weekend a month and I am missing this one. Darn darn and darn. Oh well, there is always next month.
On to gussets. Being of unsound mind and body (quite literally), I am forever forgetting which row I am knitting, the plain knit round or the decrease round. There are always interruptions....the phone, a child, the TV....you get my drift. I have to go back and count and try and decide which is next.... Now, each row I decrease, I hang the little stitch marker from my needle. If I get distracted, I know to check for the marker. It has really save me much time, maybe it will you, too...now. As always, the exquisite yarn is from Qutecowgirl as is the beautiful stitch marker.
Thanks for stopping by and God bless.
